Men’s ice hockey club plays at Penn State Dec. 1, 2

3:52 p.m., Nov. 29, 2006--UD's men's ice hockey club will play two games against Penn State Friday and Saturday at Penn State. Although plagued by injuries this season, the team is currently on a six-game winning streak, recently defeatng teams from Towson University and University at Buffalo.

The team will play at 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1, and at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2.

"The Blue Hens have been plagued this season with injuries that have hit captain Kevin Kneeld, Justin Stouch, Ben Rotundo and Justin Bailey," Mayann Rapposelli, assistant director of recreation services said. "But the team has really showed its depth with players like Dave Orga, Dan Johnson, Nick Diberardnis and Lou Volpe stepping up from their usual roles to become solid talents and an offensive force."
