Hoodie drive to aid those in need 5 p.m., Nov. 17, 2006--UD's Catholic Campus Ministry, Kappa Delta Pi and Mortar Board are conducting a hoodie drive from Monday, Nov. 20-Monday, Dec. 11, at the University Bookstore in the Perkins Student Center and the YoUDee Shop in the Trabant University Center. Hoodies should be in good condition, without tears, and should be washed before being donated. For each hoodie donated, the donor will receive a coupon for 35 percent off on a new UD hoodie at the UD Bookstore. The coupon is good through Feb. 13. The "gently used" hoodie sweatshirts will be given to the United Methodist Church on Main Street for distribution to people in shelters. |
