Hip-hop group to perform Nov. 8

2:44 p.m., Nov. 7, 2006--The socially conscious hip-hop group Bassline Entertainment will give a free performance at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 8, in Room 007 of the Willard Hall Education Building on the campus.

The performance, part of a class on "Diversity in Secondary Education," is open to the University community.

According to Essence Magazine, "Bassline is by far more talented than what you hear on the radio currently," and Sole Magazine called the group "one of the most important hip-hop groups of this generation."
