Prof featured on election night coverage

2:37 p.m., Nov. 7, 2006--Michael Wagner, assistant professor of political science and international relations at UD, will be discussing and analyzing results of the 2006 elections on WHYY-TV's election coverage today, Nov. 7.

He will be appearing from 9:30-11 p.m., Nov. 7, and also will be a guest on TV12's "Delaware Tonight" at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 8, discussing the election results.

Wagner, who joined the UD faculty this fall, specializes in American politics and conducts research on political communication, political parties, public opinion and political psychology. He is now coauthoring a book on how the public views Congress.

This fall, Wagner is teaching a course on "Voting and Elections," and he has been frequently interviewed by local television, radio and newspapers.
