Voices Against Hunger concert Nov. 16
2:43 p.m., Nov. 10, 2006--UD's sixth annual Voices Against Hunger concert will be held at 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16, in The Scrounge.
The concert will feature a cappella performances by Vision, the Golden Blues, the Y-Chromes, UD Gospel Choir and the Deltones. Chances on raffle prizes will be sold, and donations are greatly appreciated.
The concert is sponsored by Battle for Life, a service committee of the honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta, to raise money for community organizations dealing with HIV/AIDS in South Africa. Other sponsors include the Registered Student Organizations, the Resident Student Association, Students Acting for Gender Equality (SAGE), and the Red Ribbon Project for HIV/AIDS awareness.
