UD Chorale AlumniFest concert Saturday

9:41 a.m., Nov. 10, 2006--A special AlumniFest concert to mark UD Chorale Director Paul Head's 10th anniversary on campus is scheduled for 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, in Mitchell Hall.

For this first-ever AlumniFest, UD Chorale alumni from the past 10 years have been invited back for a day of rehearsal with current members of the UD Chorale, culminating in the combined performance in Mitchell Hall.

Besides several festival selections that conclude the concert, the UD Chorale also will perform several works in preparation for its upcoming international tour of northern Europe, including works by American composers Irving Fine and Eric Whitacre, along with music by several Baltic composers.

Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and alumni and $3 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter Center box offices.
