HTAC presents ’Sweet Charity’
4:06 p.m., Nov. 9, 2006--The Harrington Theatre Arts Company (HTAC), a student group at UD, will present Sweet Charity by Neil Simon from Nov. 10-18 in Pearson Hall.
The production, with music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Dorothy Fields, deals with the misadventures in love by a gullible and guileless dancehall hostess Charity Hope Valentine and includes such hit songs as “Big Spender,” “Rhythm of Life” and “If My Friends Could See Me Now.”
Performances will be held at:
- 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 10;
- 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11;
- 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 12;
- 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16;
- 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17; and
- 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18.
Tickets, which may be purchased at the door, are $5 for students and $8 for the general public.
