Benefit concert for Katrina victims Sunday

3:36 p.m., Nov. 29, 2006--Silver Wings, a campus community service group, will host a benefit concert at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Bacchus Theatre of the Perkins Student Center. The bands Omnisoul, Cartel, Noringo, Money Makers and Drunk on Sunday will be performing. All proceeds will be used to help members of Silver Wings drive to New Orleans during the winter to help provide post-Katrina aid.

Tickets are $7 at the door or $4 with a toy for the Mary Mother of Hope homeless shelter toy drive. There also will be a silent auction during the concert to help raise money for Silver Wings.
