Final exams late-night study locations

3:35 p.m., May 10, 2007--Late-night campus study locations available for use by UD students before and during spring semester final exams include, Daugherty Hall, Kent Dining Hall, Morris Library and the Morris Library Commons.

Kent Dining Hall will be open for study from 9 p.m.-2 a.m., Thursday- Thursday, May 17-24. For an extra boost during extended hours of late-night study, Kent Dining Hall offers “PJs and Pancakes” from 10 p.m.-midnight, Monday, May 21.

Morris Library Commons will be open 24-hours-a-day until the last day of exams, closing at 7 p.m., Friday, May 25. The commons offers wired and wireless Internet access, vending machines and restrooms and is located adjacent to the Morris Library entrance. During hours that the library is closed, entrance to the Commons will be via the patio door.

The Morris Library will be open:

  • 8 a.m.-midnight, Thursday, May 17;
  • 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday, May 18;
  • 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday, May 19;
  • 11 a.m.-midnight, Sunday, May 20;
  • 8 a.m.-midnight, Monday-Thursday, May 21-24; and
  • 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday, May 25.

The electronic library of the University of Delaware Library, which is available 24/7 at [www.lib.udel.edu], provides access for faculty, students, and staff of the University of Delaware to a rich array of online library resources including DELCAT, databases, full-text information, electronic journals and newspapers, Subject Guides to the Internet, the Institutional Repository and much more.

Daugherty Hall in the Trabant University Center is open:

  • 7 a.m.-2 a.m., Thursday and Friday, May 17 and 18;
  • 9 a.m.-2 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20;
  • 7 a.m.-2 a.m., Monday-Thursday, May 21-24; and
  • 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday, May 25.

Bleecker Street café, which is located in the Morris Library Commons, will extend its service days during exam week to accommodate students' dining needs. Bleecker Street café will be open from noon-10 p.m., Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20. (Bleecker Street café is normally closed on Saturdays and opens at 1 p.m. on Sundays.) The rest of the week, Bleecker Street café will feature its regular hours: 9:30 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday.
