2:45 p.m., May 11, 2007--“Nations Under the Stars,” a semiformal charity event to raise funds for Darfur Relief, is set for 7:30-10:30 p.m., Saturday, May 12, in the Rodney Room of the Perkins Student Center.

Boasting a multicultural theme, the dance will feature live entertainment by DJ Jgus, Z & 187, De Kamaal, De Capoeira and student dance organizations Dark Arts and UD Ballroom Dance teams.

Participants are urged to “dress to impress” and “ethnic” formal wear is encouraged.

Tickets are $10 for UD students with valid IDs, $18 per UD couple, prepurchased, and $12 general admission at the door. Only 300 tickets are available, due to building code restrictions. All proceeds will go to Darfur-stationed contingents of Doctors without Borders.
