Student government changes its name

5:31 p.m., May 2, 2007--The Delaware Undergraduate Student Congress (DUSC) has changed its name to the StUDent Government Association (SGA) in order to raise campus awareness of the organization and increase student involvement, according to junior Lee Edelstein, current SGA secretary.

The organization will still serve the same purposes and nothing but the name has changed. SGA is an umbrella organization that works to create a community among the hundreds of organizations on campus and to provide a forum where all student opinions can be expressed.

Edelstein said the name change would make it easier for students to find and make SGA's job easier when representing all of the undergraduate students at UD.
