5:15 p.m., May 16, 2007--Employees and retirees over age 40 who have not been screened for bone density in the past two years and are not being treated by a doctor for osteoporosis or bone loss are invited to register for an osteoporosis screening from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, in the Alumni Lounge of the Perkins Student Center.

Christiana Care Imaging Services will perform heel-bone ultrasounds to estimate bone density. The five-minute procedure provides immediate results and can determine whether further testing is recommended.
