Honors Day schedule set

2:55 p.m., May 2, 2007--Honors Day events, celebrating the academic success of University of Delaware students, will be held from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, May 4.

The following is the schedule.

11 a.m.

College of Marine and Earth Studies, Harbor Room, Virden Center, Sharp Campus, Lewes.

11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Honors Day buffet luncheon, Bob Carpenter Center (South Campus), featuring a welcome by UD President David P. Roselle and remarks by Provost Daniel Rich. Students and families were to have made reservations for the luncheon by completing and returning the response card they received from their college dean's office.

2:30 p.m.

College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mitchell Hall

College of Arts and Sciences, Multipurpose Room, Trabant University Center

Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, 115 Purnell Hall

College of Engineering, Pearson Hall Auditorium

College of Health Sciences, Trabant University Center Theatre

College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy, Clayton Hall:

  • Department of Fashion and Apparel Studies, Room 101B;

Division of Professional and Continuing Studies, Room 101 A/B Clayton Hall

The class schedule will be modified so that faculty and students can attend ceremonies set for 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 4. Classes scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. will begin at 4 p.m., and 3:35 p.m. classes will begin at 5 p.m. All other classes on Friday, May 4, will begin at their regularly scheduled times.
