RefWorks workshop set Thursday evening

5:42 p.m., May 8, 2007--At semester's end, many faculty, staff and students are struggling to complete their semester's workload while staying academically organized. Whether they are meeting research paper and thesis deadlines, finishing an article or starting research on a summer project, many students and faculty need help managing their references.

From 7-8 p.m., Thursday, May 10, the UD Library will host its final spring workshop on RefWorks, a web-based program provided by the library that offers access to references from any computer, anytime.

The workshop will cover setting up a RefWorks account, exporting citations from the research databases and importing the citations into RefWorks folders. The workshop will also cover the RefWorks “Write-N-Cite” feature, which makes it easy to insert notes and citations into documents.

Faculty, staff and graduate students can register online at [www2.lib.udel.edu/usered/classes/current.htm]. Registration is free but required.
