3:46 p.m., May 1, 2007--UD's Jazz I and Jazz II ensembles will perform in concert with guest saxophonist Jeff Coffin at 8 p.m., Thursday, May 3, in the Puglisi Orchestra Hall of the Center for the Arts, under the direction of Tom Palmer, assistant professor of music.

Coffin, well-traveled saxophonist, composer and Grammy Award-winning member of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, will hold a free Master Class with Coffin at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, in Puglisi Orchestra Hall.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter box offices. Cost is $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and alumni and $3 for students.
