Virginia Tech memorial exhibit on display in library
3:54 p.m., May 4, 2007--“In Memoriam,” an exhibit that pays tribute to the victims of the recent Virginia Tech tragedy, will be on display through Saturday, May 26, in the Information Room in the Morris Library.

Curated by Iris Snyder, associate librarian in Special Collections, the exhibit includes the names of the 27 students and five members of the faculty who were slain.

Among the items on display are the words of Nikki Giovanni, poet, activist, and Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech, and publications by Liviu Librescu, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech.

The exhibit is free and open to the public.
