Debate on universities and free society set May 9

5:55 p.m., May 7, 2007--The Intercollegiate Studies Institute will hold a debate, “Have Universities Become the Enemy of a Free Society?” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, in the Trabant University Center Theatre as part of its “Cicero's Podium” debate series.

Alan Charles Kors, George H. Walker Endowed Term Chair at the University of Pennsylvania, and William Galston, a professor public policy at the University of Maryland, will debate this issue.

The event is sponsored by the Conservative Caucus of Delaware, Students of Western Civilizations, the Delaware Association of Scholars and Students in Public Interest.
