Benefits Fair prize winners announced

10:15 a.m., June 5, 2007--Twenty-nine UD employees hit the door prize jackpot at the annual Benefits Fair, held Thursday, May 17, in the Trabant University Center. Three employees also won prizes for their estimation acumen and knowledge of UD trivia.

The following employees are this year's trivia contest winners.

Trina M. Biederman, a food service worker in Dining Services, won a family pool membership to UD's Outdoor Pool, courtesy of Human Resources, for her knowledge of UD geography in the “Steppin' Around Campus” contest.

Carol B. Brower, a staff assistant in UD's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, won a weekend or any two nights at the Virden Center in Lewes, courtesy of Conference Services, for her knowledge of UD's benefits.

Diana L. Woodring, a senior secretary for University Development, won a jar of candy, courtesy of Human Resources, for her accuracy in estimating the amount of candy (460 pieces) in the “Guess How Much Candy in Candy Jar” contest.
