3:14 p.m., June 25, 2007--As of Wednesday, June 27, the Unicity summer bus service route serving the campus and greater Newark community will add a stop at Christian Commons, extending the service to the Laird Campus.

The city of Newark and UD launched the new Unicity "N-Summer" service on June 18. It operates from 7-10 p.m. during the week and from 7-10 a.m. and 7-10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Service will not be available on July 4.
In the past, UD has suspended its bus service during the summer months since there are fewer students on the campus. Recently, some students have expressed interest in such service.

The Unicity buses are smaller than the UD buses that normally run campus routes and are more economical to operate. For more information, go to [www.udel.edu/bus].
