Free bus passes offered to reduce ozone pollution
5:01 p.m., June 7, 2007--UD employees who register with DART First State's Ozone Action program through the University of Delaware this summer will receive five free bus passes to be used any time until Sept. 29.

The program encourages commuters to use public transit to help alleviate ground-level ozone pollution during the hottest months of the year.

Registration deadline is June 15. To register, e-mail [selcock@tmadelaware.org] with “2007 UD Ozone Registration” in the e-mail subject line or call (302) 658-9001. To pick up tickets after registering, call James Grimes, senior assistant director of public safety at UD, at (302) 831-4136 after June 15.
