June 22, 2007--Darlene Ellen Bell, 51, of Wilmington, died on Feb. 7.

Daughter of Henry T. and Bessie M. Peebles, Darlene was educated at Mary C.I. Williams School, Wilmington High School, Delaware-Tech Community College and the University of Delaware. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and an associate's degree from Delaware-Tech Community College, and she was employed at UD as a library analyst.

Ms. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Bell; her father, Henry Peebles, and brother, Everett Peebles. She is survived by two sons, Michael and Andrew Deloatch; two daughters, Rayna and Randi Bell; her mother, Bessie Peebles; sister, Sherry Brown; 3 brothers, Walter Woodward, Andrew Peebles and Jerome Deloatch; brother-in-law, Arthur Bell Jr.; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; devoted friend, Kenneth Seeney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.

A funereal service was held Feb. 13 at the House of Wright Mortuary, 208 E. 35th St., Wilmington, with interment in Riverview Gardens.
