Football Media Day set for Sunday, Aug. 20 4:46 p.m., July 19, 2006--Football Media Day for the 2006 University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens will be held from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20, at Delaware Stadium. Players and coaches will conduct interviews with local media and will take their team picture on the field. Football Media Day is an opportunity for Blue Hen fans to get an informal and up-close look at their favorite players and coaches. Players and coaches will possibly sign an autograph or pose for a snapshot. UD will open preseason drills on Friday, Aug. 11. The 2006 season will open with a game on Tubby Raymond Field at Delaware Stadium at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 9, against West Chester University.
