Hearing screening offered Aug. 10 10:27 a.m., July 13, 2006--One in three people older than 60 has hearing loss. Signs to look for include difficulty hearing on the telephone or when there is noise in the background or frequently having to ask individuals to repeat themselves. UD employees and retirees are invited to take a 5-minute hearing screening that will be offered from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 10, in 310 Gore Hall. An audiologist with Delaware Hearing Consultants will perform the tests, and results will be available immediately. Cost for the screening is 10 Wellness Dollars.
