11:26 a.m., July 28, 2006--The Atlantic 10 Conference will hold football media day on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at the Philadelphia Renaissance Hotel, featuring coaches and players from the 12 member institutions.

University of Delaware Head Coach K.C. Keeler is preparing to begin his fifth season at the helm of the Fightin' Blue Hens, who will open preseason camp on Friday, Aug. 11. Keeler is 36-16 at UD and has won two conference championships and the 2003 NCAA Division I-AA national championship.

Scholar-athletes expected to attend the event include UD All-American running back Omar Cuff, wide receiver David Ball of the University of New Hampshire and offensive lineman Cody Morris of the College of William & Mary.

Atlantic 10 Commissioner Linda Bruno will make opening remarks.

The event will be broadcast for the fifth consecutive year by WRHU-FM of Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. The broadcast will run from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and can be heard via the Internet by going to the conference web site at [www.atlantic10.org].

This will be the last year for Atlantic 10 football, with all conference members moving to the Colonial Athletic Association for the 2007 season.
