Police arrest two for burglary 1:58 p.m., July 17, 2006--Newark Police arrested a man and woman on Saturday, July 15, in connection with a residential burglary that morning in the 300 block of Paper Mill Road, Newark. Police received a call from the victim's friend reporting that her house has been entered illegally and that the suspects were attempting to flee the area. The police arrived and detained a woman driving a car and a man walking a short distance from the house. The witness positively identified both, and property belonging to the homeowner was found in the defendant's possession. Arrested were Michelle E. Robinson, 35, of Bear, and Anthony C. Gilbert, 49, of Newark. They were charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy and misdemeanor theft. Gilbert was released on $8,000 unsecured bond, and Robinson was incarcerated.
