UDSIS training courses for administrative users 11:58 a.m., July 13, 2006--A course is being offered in July to help familiarize current users of SIS/Plus with the new University of Delaware Student Information System (UDSIS). “UDSIS General Information for Administrative Users,” a 3-hour training session, covers how to view student biographic and academic information, as well as course information. These sessions will introduce the campus to the user-friendly UDSIS Student Services Center, which is designed to be a "one-stop shopping" page for most general student information needs. “I strongly suggest this training for most current users of SIS/Plus, including both staff and professionals in academic and administrative departments, as well as faculty administrators,” Ellen Lepine, assistant director in the Office of Associate Treasurer-Financial Services, said. ”If you attended UDSIS Basic Training, you will want to attend one of these sessions for the next level of information. Upon attending this training you will be able to request access by Webform to UDSIS and begin using the Student Services Center.” UDSIS training sessions in 120 Smith Hall are slated for:
No reservations are required. Nonadministrative faculty members do not need to attend one of these sessions. Training specific to the general faculty will be offered at a later date. Those who attended DelaWorld adviser Training or another "UDSIS General Info" training session do not need to attend this “UDSIS General Information for Administrative Users Training.” For more information about UDSIS and to see the training calendar, go to [www.udel.edu/udsis-info]. |
