Soup's on--and you're invited to Thursday's sampling

11:03 a.m., Jan. 31, 2007--Winter is the perfect time for hot, savory soups, and Dining Services is holding its annual soup sampling from noon-1:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, at The Scrounge in the Perkins Student Center.

The entire University community is invited to come and sip 12 varieties of soup and answer a brief survey. Among the new soups available for sampling are:

  • Chipolte corn and smoked cheddar;
  • Bistro three onion; and
  • Chicken cordon bleu with smoked ham and swiss.

Dining Services' goal is to identify new soups to be added to its food court and snack bar soup menus.

Those who are unable to attend the tasting are encouraged to vote for their favorite soups on the current soup cycle by clicking on the “Soup Survey” link on the Dining Services home page at [www.udel.edu/dining].
