National Competition Spirit Dinner Jan. 12 in Orlando
Editor's note: This article was updated Jan. 5 because of a change in this event's time, date and location. 4:25 p.m., Jan. 3, 2007--A National Competition Spirit Dinner, set for 3:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 12, at the Hollywood Prop Shop (next to the Back Lot Tour) at MGM Studios in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., is being held for UD competition participants, friends and family of participants, and UD spirit alumni and their friends and family. The dinner will precede the 2006-07 National Championships, which are held each year in Orlando, and will feature routines by the UD Cheerleading Team, Dance Team and mascot cadre. The cost of the meal is $35 per person and includes a full dinner and beverages. Alumni planning to attend should register online at [www.udel.edu/alumni] by Tuesday, Jan. 9.
