Synchronized skating team takes regional title
1:53 p.m., Jan. 30, 2007--The University of Delaware Synchronized Skating Team finished first in the Eastern Sectional Championships, held Jan. 25-28, in Providence, R.I. The win qualified the team to skate in the 2007 Synchronized Skating National Championship in Colorado Springs, Colo., Feb. 20-25. This is the ninth consecutive year that the team has been the East Coast champion. The team, which is made up of full-time college students, has received three national medals in the last four years and is the defending Eastern Sectional Champion in the collegiate division. |
