Martin Luther King Day library hours

11:23 a.m., Jan. 8, 2007--UD's Morris Library will be open from noon-10 p.m., Martin Luther King Day, Monday, Jan. 15, although University offices are closed and classes are suspended. The agriculture, chemistry, marine studies and physics libraries will be closed.

At the Morris Library, not all service desks will be open, some service desks may have reduced hours and Special Collections and the Exhibition Gallery will be closed.

“Experience shows that the Morris Library is still much used on Martin Luther King Day, even though no classes are given,” Susan Brynteson, May Morris Director of Libraries, said. “The library is trying to meet the needs of library users.”

The electronic library of the University of Delaware Library, which is available 24/7 at [www.lib.udel.edu], provides access for UD faculty, students and staff to a rich array of online library resources including DELCAT, databases, full-text information, electronic journals and newspapers, subject guides to the Internet, the Institutional Repository and much more.
