Newark Police seeking suspect in burglary

10:12 a.m., Jan. 26, 2007--Newark Police are investigating a burglary reported Jan. 25 at a home in the unit block of Manuel Street.

Police said a man was found in the home when a dog alerted the female resident to his presence, and the suspect subsequently fled towards East Park Place.

Police said the man is about 20-25 years of age and 6 feet tall with a thin build, and has a brown mustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
