Moving Women Forward 5K fundraiser set March 4

4:23 p.m., Feb. 28, 2007--The Nutrition and Dietetics Club 5K Run/Walk will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, March 4, starting at the Christiana Tower Commons, proceeding across the new bridge and along Creek Road.

Cost to register is $15 online at [races2run.com] or $20 on the day of the race. The first 200 participants receive free T-shirts.

Proceeds go to Moving Women Forward, a Christiana Care Health System program that promotes healthy lifestyles, including high-risk pregnancy nutrition counseling, programs for disabled women and diabetic education in Spanish. All programs are free and are open to women living in specific parts of Wilmington.

The race is sponsored by UD's Nutrition & Dietetics Club.
