Library offers overview of instructional media

2:55 p.m., Feb. 16, 2007--An "Instructional Media Resources for Instructors" training session will be held from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, in the Instructional Media Collection Department on the eastern side of the Lower Level of Morris Library.

The training session for UD instructors will explore methods of incorporating more media into teaching, and will include an overview of film and video resources and services available for classroom instructional support and research.

The session will begin with a tour of Instructional Media Department facilities, including newly revamped viewing carrels, a viewing room and a media research room. Participants will be shown how to search the media collections in DELCAT and will be given an online tour of the Instructional Media web site [www.lib.udel.edu/ud/instructionalmedia].

Registration is limited to four attendees so that specific concerns and curiosities can be addressed. Those who can't attend on Feb. 21 can e-mail Meghann Matwichuk at [mtwchk@udel.edu] to set up an individual consultation.
