Eagles’ mascot, cheerleaders to join Family Fun on ice Sunday

Swoop, the Philadelphia Eagles’ mascot

5:23 p.m., Feb. 20, 2007--Swoop, the Philadelphia Eagles mascot, along with two Eagles' cheerleaders, Stephanie and Amanda, will take to the ice from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Fred Rust Ice Arena during the Family Fun Weekend skating session.

Eagles cheerleader Stephanie is a junior at UD.
Stephanie, a member of the Eagles' 2006-07 cheerleading squad, is a UD student majoring in dietetics with a concentration in pediatrics.

Swoop, a.k.a. Ryan Hughes, is a 1999 UD business graduate.

Both cheerleaders and Swoop will mingle with skaters, take a few spins around the rink and show their UD and Eagles spirit.
