Early November in concert Feb. 28 in Trabant

3:56 p.m., Feb. 5, 2007--A concert by Drive Thru Records recording artist The Early November is set for 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, in Multipurpose Rooms A, B & C in the Trabant University Center.

Sponsored by UD's Student Centers Programming Advisory Board, the mid-winter concert will feature selections from the young band's latest release, The Mother, the Mechanic and the Path, a triple disc compilation that hit no. 31 on Billboard 200 last summer.

Selections range from beat-driven rock to stripped-down acoustic numbers to sountracks that feature character-based dialogue.

The alternative band, which hails from Hammonton, N.J., has been building a strong fan base for the past several years since signing with Drive Thru Records and performing on the Warped Tour.

Tickets to the concert will go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 6, and are $10 per person for UD students with valid ID and $16 per person for all others. Tickets can be purchased at UD box offices and through Ticketmaster. Doors to the 8:30 p.m. concert will open at 7:30 p.m.
