Family thanks campus community for support of injured student

9:16 p.m., Feb. 19, 2007--The family of Cristin C. Duprey, a junior in health sciences from Middletown, who was severely injured in an automobile accident on Wednesday, Feb. 14, has thanked the campus community for its support.

Ms. Duprey is in the intensive care trauma unit at Christiana Hospital.

According to the family, "Cristin remains in critical condition, but the family maintains a position of faith and hopefulness for her recovery. A host of family, friends, classmates and well-wishers have demonstrated an outpouring of support, and we are thankful for this phenomenal show of love. We appreciate all of the telephone calls and visits."

Because of the seriousness of Duprey's condition, visits at the hospital are limited to family members.
