Police are investigating a mysterious stabbing 9:34 a.m., Dec. 11, 2006--Newark Police are investigating a mysterious stabbing incident that occurred between 8-10 p.m., Saturday, near the Cinema Center in the Newark Shopping Center. Police said a 20-year-old Newark woman was stabbed in the chest but was unable to provide details about how she was injured or to give a description of the assailant. She was treated at the scene by Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder Co. emergency medical services personnel and by New Castle County paramedics before being transported to Christiana Hospital, where she was admitted with a collapsed lung.
