University Singers concert Sunday evening in CFA
6:52 p.m., Dec. 1, 2006--UD's Department of Music presents the University Singers, UD's premier women's ensemble, in concert at 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Gore Recital Hall of the Center for the Arts.
The singers will present “My Soul Doth Magnify: Songs of Women,” a presentation of pieces by composers and poets that express the voices of women, including Niccola Porpora's Magnificat and Lana Walter's Four Settings of 17th-Century Love Poetry.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter Center box offices.
