Papers on women or gender sought

4:43 p.m., Dec. 6, 2006--The Geis Student Research on Women Conference is seeking research papers that pertain to women and gender issues for its conference on Saturday, April 14.

The conference is open to all current students, male and female, and winners will be awarded $200 for first place and $150 for second place in the undergraduate and graduate divisions.

Papers must be submitted to the Women's Studies Program office at 35 W. Delaware Ave. by 4:30 p.m., Monday, March 5, or be postmarked by Friday, March 2. Complete entry rules are available online at [www.udel.edu/WomensStudies/geisrules.html].

The conference, which will include students and faculty from the 12 member institutions of the Greater Philadelphia Women's Studies Consortium, shares research about women and provides recognition of student excellence in research.
