Engagement calendar now at UD Bookstore

3:29 p.m., Dec. 8, 2006--The 2007 University of Delaware engagement calendar, now on sale at the UD Bookstore, is certain to please both the practical and the sentimental alike.

Featuring the theme “Now & Then,” the spiral-bound pages pair current pictures of UD with ones from bygone decades, and the “week-at-a-view” layout offers plenty of space to keep users rooted in the present, as well.

Available now at the YoUDee Shop and at the UD Bookstore in the Perkins Student Center, the calendars are priced at $19.95. They also may be ordered online at the University Bookstore's web site
[www.udel.edu/bookstore].

Historic photographs, courtesy of the University of Delaware Archives, juxtaposed against contemporary scenes let users take a trip down memory lane every week of the year.

The calendar was designed by Lane McLaughlin, assistant director, and edited by Cornelia Weil, senior editorial coordinator, both in UD's Office of Public Relations. It was printed on campus by UD's Graphic Communications Center.
