Vita Nova restaurant accepting reservations 9:26 a.m., Aug. 30, 2006--Vita Nova, the popular fine-dining restaurant operated by faculty and students from the University of Delaware's Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management, is now accepting reservations for the fall semester. Located on the second floor of the Trabant University Center, Vita Nova is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and for dinner from 5:30-7:30 p.m., beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 6. For reservations for lunch or dinner, call (302) 831-0500. The Darden Bistro, a tapas style wine bar, is open from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Reservations are not necessary for the Darden Bistro. “Our faculty and students give special thanks to you, the generous contributors and the University community who have made this adventure into the world of work and opportunity possible,” Julie Fagan, director of restaurant operations for HRIM, said. “We are delighted that many of you have taken the time to visit our student-operated dining room and have taken part in a complex and exciting educational concept. The details involved in the operation of Vita Nova are structured to give our students the opportunity to provide you the finest food, service and ambiance.” |
