UDSIS training for administrators offered Tuesday
10:23 a.m., Aug. 18, 2006--A course is being offered at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22, to help familiarize administrative users of SIS/Plus with the new University of Delaware Student Information System (UDSIS). “UDSIS General Information for Administrative Users,” a 2-hour training session, covers how to view student biographic and academic information, as well as course information. This sessions will introduce the campus to the user-friendly UDSIS Student Services Center, which is designed to be a "one-stop shopping" page for most general student information needs. This course expands on the “UDSIS Basic Training” offered in April and May. “I strongly suggest this training for most current users of SIS/Plus, including both staff and professionals in academic and administrative departments, as well as faculty administrators,” Ellen Lepine, leader of the UDSIS Communication and Training Team, said. ”Upon attending this training you will be able to request access by Webform to UDSIS and begin using the Student Services Center.” The course is slated for 9-11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22, in 120 Smith Hall. No reservations are required. Nonadministrative faculty members do not need to attend one of these sessions. Training specific to the general faculty will be offered at a later date. Those who attended DelaWorld Adviser Training or another "UDSIS General Info" training session do not need to attend this “UDSIS General Information for Administrative Users Training.” For more information about UDSIS and to see the training calendar, go to [www.udel.edu/udsis-info]. |
