UD Opera Theatre auditions Sept. 5 and 7

9:56 a.m., Aug. 30, 2006--UD Opera Theatre will hold auditions for its 2006-07 season on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and Thursday, Sept. 7, in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.

Auditions will be for three shows, including the fall semester's world premiere opera, the Winter Session's production of The Medium and the spring semester's production of Kurt Weill's musical, Street Scene.

Those interested in auditioning should visit [http://amy.music.udel.edu/faculty/stewardl] and download an application form. The form must then be completed and returned to Lee Steward, assistant professor of music, in Room 302, of the Amy E. duPont Music Building, before the audition. All UD students are welcome to participate.
