Exhibit of paintings by 2 alums opens Sept. 8 2:39 p.m., Aug. 18, 2006--Steven Ellis and Sarah Taylor Cummings, two recent graduates from UD's College of Arts & Sciences, will showcase recent works in an upcoming joint art exhibition on view from Sept. 8-30 at the Talleyville Frame Shoppe & Gallery. The collaborative works are a series of what Ellis and Cummings call "psychological landscape" paintings and are executed in several media. An opening reception to meet the artists is set for 5-8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 8. Regular gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; noon-7 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturdays. The Talleyville Frame Shoppe & Gallery is located at 3625 Silverside Road in Wilmington and is owned by UD alum Wendy Mitchell and her husband Ric Frane. |
