Fall 2006 Activities Night set Aug. 28

2:13 p.m., Aug. 25, 2006--
Fall 2006 Activities Night, the annual event that showcases UD's registered student organizations, is set for 7-9 p.m., Monday, Aug. 28, in Multipurpose Rooms A, B and C at the Trabant University Center and in the gyms of the Carpenter Sports Building.

The Student Centers-sponsored event will give new students a chance to learn about more than 170 student organizations that appeal to interests ranging from environmentalism to student government to intramural sports and is an excellent way for students to gather information and meet like-minded peers before making a firm commitment about which groups to join.

Attendance at both locations is highly recommended for students who want to get a full sampling of offerings.

The following list is just a sampling of some of the organizations that will be represented: student government, multicultural campus, student media, recreation, community service, club sports, cultural and performance, and fraternities and sororities.

For more information about the free event, call (302) 831-0091 or go to [www.udel.edu/student-centers/AandP/rso/index.html]
