Drexel defeats Delaware in CAA men’s lacrosse

7:55 a.m., April 9, 2007--Drexel University scored the final four goals to break a tie and defeat the No. 14 ranked University of Delaware 11-7 in a Colonial Athletic Association men's lacrosse game played Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia.

With the loss, the Fightin' Blue Hens fell to 6-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference. They have lost four of the last five games.

The Hens will return to action with a CAA game against Towson University at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 11 at Rullo Stadium.

Dan Deckelbaum scored two goals to lead the Hens. Adam Zuder-Havens, Jordan Hall and Chris Hichborn had one goal and one assist each, and Nick LoManto and Kevin Kaminski had one goal each. UD goalkeeper Tommy Scherr had four saves.
