Duke defeats Delaware 12-6 in men’s lacrosse
Sophomore attack Nick LoManto scored two goals in the loss to Duke.
7:57 a.m., April 2, 2007--Host Duke University defeated the University of Delaware in a men's lacrosse game played Friday in Durham, N.C. The fifth ranked Blue Devils took a 5-0 lead in the first quarter and the Fightin' Blue Hens were unable to challenge.

With the loss, the Hens fell to 6-3, with all three losses to top 10 teams. UD will return to action with a Colonial Athletic Association game at Drexel University at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 7.

The Hens got two goals each from sophomore attack Nick LoManto and freshman midfielder Kevin Kaminski. Seniors Jordan Hall and Dan Deckelbaum also scored. Goalkeeper Tommy Scherr had 16 saves.
