Online resources for coping with Virginia Tech tragedy

2:52 p.m., April 19, 2007--UD's Center for Counseling and Student Development has established Internet links to assist those coping with the tragedy at Virginia Tech.

The links, which are accessible by going to [www.udel.edu/Counseling], are directed to different populations of those affected by the events at Virginia Tech.

The Thantology Association/Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) also has a web page for those coping with loss at [www.adec.org/coping/]. The page provides useful articles, links and resources for the public that deal with loss and bereavement issues.

ADEC was founded in 1976 and is a professional organization dedicated to death education, care of the dying, grief counseling and research on the study of death.
