'Laugh for the Health of It' talk set April 19

3:09 p.m., April 4, 2007--“Laugh for the Health of It,” a lunchtime lecture for UD employees sponsored by the Employee Wellness Center, is set for 12:05-12:55 p.m., Thursday, April 19, in the Bacchus Theatre of the Perkins Student Center.

Led by Elaine Lundberg, a certified humor therapist and nationally acclaimed speaker, the lecture will focus on the physical and mental health benefits of humor and its appropriate use in the work place and other professional settings.

Lecture participants are encouraged to bring their lunches and complimentary beverages and desserts will be provided. Additionally, all participants will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Christina Comedy Zone.

The lecture, which costs 10 Wellness Dollars, is open to all UD employees and is co-sponsored by UD's Office of Human Resources and Faculty and Staff Assistance Program.
