Wheelchair ballroom dancing lessons begin April 15

5:23 p.m., April 11, 2007--Classes in ballroom dancing for persons in wheelchairs with a standing partner will be offered at 8 p.m. on Sundays beginning April 15 in the gym in Pearson Hall. UD's Dance Team, American Dance Wheels and Crystal Dansport, a local ballroom dancing firm, will teach cha-cha, foxtrot, swing and other dances that can be used by one seated and one standing partner. Persons in manual or power wheelchairs are welcome.

The course will follow the American DanceWheels' syllabus that can be used at nightclubs, dance parties and weddings. Registration will be held at the door. For more information, call Pat Grim at (302) 831-1117.
